Overview
The responsibility will be for the performance of engineering duties for the proper and proactive testing and evaluation of wireless handset products. Performs include prototype bring-up and debugging, Hardware bug tracking, functional verification, and manufacturing support. Other duties may be assigned.
Responsibilities
Either directly or through others, the incumbent will:
- Track record of delivering highly innovative communications products with knowledge of product development and manufacturing processes.
- Working cross-functionally and with R&D team to analyze H/W design issues found during development prototype builds Creation of overall project plan and key point of contact for hardware projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in engineering or related electronics technical training from four-year College or university or heavy related on the job training at a significant level
- College degree with relevant experience can be considered.
- Between 0-5 years wireless product field testing related experience.
- Experience with mobile and / or embedded processors, prototype bring-up and debugging, hardware bug tracking, functional verification, and manufacturing support.
- Experience with industry standards for wireless communications is a huge plus.
- Understanding of cellular radio access standards (e.g. LTE, CDMA, GPS, Wi-Fi) and their implications on the modes of operation of a chipset.

- Plan, organize, assign and prioritize multiple field testing assignments and projects as directed by the manager of the group.
- Work independently and in a team environment in order to achieve personal and team goals and complete assignments within established time frames.
- Tasks are guided by clearly defined objectives and functional direction with an implied knowledge of task alternatives and decision making experience to guide the incumbent. Bilingual communication skill in English/Korean is a plus
