We are excited to offer the opportunity for 1-2 outstanding students to join us as Tutors for BENG 2330 Biomaterials this fall semester. Your academic achievements in this course have highlighted your potential, and we invite you to apply to help guide the next generation of scholars.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting students in understanding course concepts by reviewing exam problems and providing constructive feedback.
- Guiding students in developing stronger writing and analytical skills by reviewing lab reports and offering individualized suggestions for improvement.
- Supporting students’ hands-on learning experience in laboratory sessions by helping individuals with organization, answering questions, and clarifying lab procedures. Lab sessions are every Thursday from 2:30 PM to 4:50 PM
- Offering one-on-one tutoring to reinforce lab learning.
- Collaborating with the instructor to identify areas where students may need additional academic support.
Qualifications:
- On-Campus ACA Variable US Work Authorization is REQUIRED
- Undergraduate students who have completed BENG 2330 or an equivalent course, or graduate students.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time efficiently.
Workload:
- Approximately 5-10 hours weekly, predominantly from late September to November.
