Football Student Equipment Manager
On-Campus ACA Variable Hours

Student Managers, under the supervision of the head manager, will be responsible for practice set-up and break down on a daily basis. They will work with coaches during practice to help the players perform drills. Managers will also learn how to properly maintain equipment such as helmets, shoulder pads and other football related gear. Managers will be taught how to properly maintain accurate inventory, perform daily football equipment maintenance and will be required to help with locker room set-up for all home and road games. Managers will be asked to perform other practice and game day duties that will be specified by the head manager. Must be available to work afternoon and evening hours as well as occasional early morning and some weekend hours. Must be available to travel with the team and have all expenses paid. Applicants must be able to work well under pressure, must have great communication skills, and be willing to work in various weather conditions. This position requires the ability to drive university vehicles after passing a State of Utah driving test. The NCAA requires Student Managers to maintain 12 credit hours per semester (Full Time Student status).
Because of the physical nature of this position, applicants need to be in excellent physically fit condition and have the ability to lift 50 pounds and push &/or pull 100 pounds. This is a very high energy job and will require applicants to work in a team environment with other Student Managers.
