Engineering Intern
We are looking for an enthusiastic, driven, detail oriented Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering student. The engineering intern will assist the engineering staff with engineering projects which includes:
- Setup, operation, and reporting results for various mechanical tests
- Updating/creation of mechanical drawings and inspection plans
- Operating CNC machinery
- Operating and maintaining a 3D printer
- Modeling design concepts in SolidWorks
- Reviewing and inspecting product received from outside vendors
- Loading, reviewing, and routing various documentation through the documentation control system
This is a great position to learn about a small medical device engineering start-up with a great product that will revolutionize the medical device industry. The proper candidate can work a flexible 10-20 hours a week throughout the school year and up to 30 hours each week throughout the summer. This position is currently open, and we are looking to fill it as quickly as possible.
