Engineering Intern

Details:

The Engineering Intern will assist the consulting team and client with concept development, design documentation, quality system implementation and maintenance, and regulatory tasks.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

• Participate in the mechanical design of various surgical implants and instrumentation.
• Generate solid models and design drawings/specifications using SolidWorks (SolidWorks experience preferred, but not required).
• Optimize 3d printing process and parameters for high temperature printing (PEEK, PEKK, ULTEM)
• Develop and maintain Quality Management Procedures
• Create or modify Quality System records
• Create or modify design control records
• Additional duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate will be a motivated self starter with the ability to prioritize and affectively manage their time.
