The Central Valley Water Board has an opening for a Water Resource Control Engineer in its Oil Field Program. The position is located at 1685 E Street, Fresno, CA 93706.

Duties:
The Water Resource Control Engineer (WRCE) is responsible for providing timely and professional assistance to the public and staff by phone, e-mail, mail, and in-person. The WRCE will review and evaluate technical information, data, and reports pertaining to water quality, discharges of waste, and related infrastructure. The WRCE should be able to evaluate technical information, studies, calculations, and analytical data to make decisions. The WRCE is responsible for providing timely and professional work products, managing multiple tasks, and becoming proficient in WRCE duties. Daily proficient utilization of office equipment, laptops, and the Microsoft Office Suite is required.

Salary information – CalHR salary rules allow appointment at the entrance rate (Cal. Code Regs., tit. 2, § 599.673) of a classification. For classes with alternate ranges, placement is based on education/experience.
