Part-Time Junior Developer

We are looking for a part-time developer or software engineer intern to support an innovative, web-based survey administration and data reporting tool. This application is built on Drupal, and the role includes custom module development, data wrangling, and creating web-based reports and visualizations. This role is a great opportunity for those interested in exploring how AI and machine learning can enhance web applications, data analysis, and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

  1. Work on a project team to develop and maintain the Drupal-based web application, including module customization and API integrations.
  2. Develop custom reports and visualizations using a Javascript charting library.
  3. Provide support to customers using the web application.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  1. Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and Javascript.
  2. Basic knowledge of SQL databases.
  3. Interest in data visualization and reporting tools.
  4. Experience with building or maintaining web applications.
  5. Some experience with PHP or a willingness to learn.

Nice-to-have Qualifications (not required)

  1. Experience with the Chart.js and/or Highcharts.js data visualization libraries.
  2. Experience or interest in web accessibility.
  3. Experience with Drupal.
