“The University Relations and Talent Acquisition team do an amazing job of supporting the interns. They are sure to set up many networking opportunities, advice sessions, interview/resume workshopping, etc. This was all very helpful at the start of my internship. As I moved through the summer, I networked a lot with full-time associates as well as other interns as many of them were at different stages of their careers than I was. This gave me a feel of what working at Alcon is like, but also what it is to be a young professional working in a corporate environment. No matter what level of management, everyone was willing to meet with me just to connect and talk about our professional careers. I am very thankful for the support from the entire Corporate Communications team and the University Relations team for their continuous support throughout the summer. It can be hard to navigate a corporate environment for the first time, but they made it feel easy!”
